Ateneo relief operations continue today until 12mn. Vehicles will leave starting 1pm and every 2 hours thereafter for distribution of goods to Marikina, Montalban and other affected areas. Anyone is welcome to volunteer for packaging, sorting and delivery! MANPOWER IS NEEDED!

From delivery of goods to UPP Bliss in Marikina and other affected areas in the dead of night, muddy streets and endless downpour of rain to passing on different assortments of goods from one person to another from the truck to the sorting area in Court 6 and sorting, packaging and carrying the goods for deployment starting today at 1pm, you will see that NOW IS THE TIME TO CONGREGATE.

This has been the worst flood in the Philippines in 46 years.

I bet there are a lot of areas in the Metro where you can help out as well. I bet there are a lot of drop-off points or relief operations near where you are right.about.now.

It has to start somewhere.

It has to start somewhere. It has to start with discerning what you want to be, what you want to do and how you want to do it. It has to start with a sense of urgency, a certain drive to accomplish something, to be the best you can ever be.

Some vision cannot be turned into fruition without hard work, going through the daily grind of things and handling all obstacles and adversities along the way.

So for you guys out there, who’d want to do something, accomplish a certain dream, JUST DO IT. Cause once you love what you do, nothing can stop you.

All the new and fresh produce of today, this week, and tomorrow – you can check all of that in all the other blogs and forums. Here, I would want to focus on the intangibles of building something from the ground up with the friends am working with on a daily basis, and hopefully inspiring you to just do what you wanna do! Yeah alright, the dictates of the world right now, given the economic situation that we are experiencing, might have focused on stressing the importance of getting a good-paying job after college, having a steady source of income, sustaining yourself for longevity and get that paper by any means necessary…. (allow me to introduce Pharrell and Luda, Money Maker right about now…bass stomping in the background)  But that shouldn’t be the end-all, be-all. Do something also that you are passionate about man/woman…(no disrespect)…Just stressing that one out.

If you wanna put up a clothing line, do it! If you wanna set-up your own shop with good friends, do it. If you wanna start a band or relive a band that you have put on hold ’cause of other matters, do it!  And all of you trying to turn a vision into reality, do it!

But it starts with knowing what YOU want. Don’t limit yourself to the dictates of the world.

To a certain extent, be anti- status quo. That’s what attracted me to this whole subculture in the first place.
